Savory toasted pecans are a great appetizer for your Thanksgiving day feast! This simple four ingredient recipe is destined to make your guests happy!  Another perk to this recipe is that you can make them a few days ahead of time and simply set them out the morning of your party!

Savory Toasted Pecans

Ingredients

  • 4 c pecan, halves
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 3 tbsp. barbecue spice rub
  • 4 tbsp. worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Cube butter and add to the bowl with the other ingredients
  3. Microwave the pecan, spice, butter mixture for 5 minutes. Mix ingredients half way through cook time, allowing butter to melt.
  4. Place pecans on lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 mintues
  6. Reduce oven temperature to 250 degrees. Allow to cook for another 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  7. Stir pecans occasionally while cooking.
  8. Once done, allow to cool fully to room temperature before placing in an air tight container.
  9. Enjoy!
