Edamame hummus is a great alternative to a traditional chick pea hummus. Edamame is packed with plant based protein and fiber! The bright green color of the edamame makes this dish visually appealing as well.
We utilized mint in the recipe to give the hummus a refreshing zing but still stayed true to hummus incorporating tahini and olive oil.
You can traditionally serve with pita chips, assorted vegetables. If you want to incorporate hummus in a new way try using it in place of mayonnaise on sandwiches or wraps, added to salads to act as a dressing, or added to a quick bowl instead of other calorie filled condiments.
