Ingredients
- 3 medium/large ripe bananas
- 1/2 c unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 c brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c all purpose flour
- 1/2 c dark cocoa powder
- 1 c semisweet chocolate chips (can also do 1/2 cup semisweet and 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts)
- milk chocolate chips to garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9x5 loaf pan or three 1lb mini loaf pans.
- Mash bananas in a large bowl. Whisk in melted butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla.
- Sift in baking soda, salt, flour, and cocoa powder and stir mixture with a spoon. Gently stir in chocolate chips (/and pecans).
- Pour batter in pan(s) and sprinkle with chocolate chips (/and pecans). Bake for 45 minutes or until cooked through.
