Ingredients
For the Pork Tenderloin:
- 1 1/4 lb pork tenderloin
- olive oil
- 1/4 c chopped fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary, basil, oregano)
- salt and pepper to taste
For the Wasabi Cream Sauce
- 1 c sour cream
- 2 tbsp. freshly grated wasabi
- Zest of one lemon
- Juice of one lemon
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
Instructions
To prepare the tenderloin:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a baking dish rub the pork tenderloin generously with olive oil. Coat with the chopped herbs, salt, and pepper. Let sit and marinate for 30-45 min.
- After marinating, turn the stove top to medium high heat and let the pan come to temperature. Sear the pork loin on each side for 5 minutes to get an outer crust.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20 min or until the internal temperature is 145 degrees Fahrenheit. Let rest prior to slicing to let some of the juices set.
To prepare the sauce:
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Serve paired with the roasted pork tenderloin.

Where did you buy the freshly grated wasabi? I could only find the paste. Thanks!

Hi Allison! Mary Parker found fresh wasabi root at Kroger near the sushi bar and grated it herself, but she says that wasabi paste will work just fine! Just add it in slowly until you reach the desired level of kick! 🙂
